About
Hello! My name is Connor Magill and I’m a freelance video editor and animator based in Brooklyn.
I bring 15 years of experience working at an array of companies with the majority of my career focusing on short-form content living digitally either on social media feeds, youtube accounts and company websites as well as working at television networks and delivering content for broadcast. From short-form to long-form, I've cut ads, branded content, promos, sizzle reels, and episodics. I've cut things that'll live in a 16x9 box for television and youtube, 1x1 and 4x5 squares for Facebook and Instagram, and 9x16 rectangles for Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram.
I'm comfortable working off a script, crafting one of my own during an edit, or spending the day in After Effects making 2D builds to support whichever video I may be working on.
When I’m not in the editor’s chair focused on post-production, you can find me entrenched in the planning of immersive experiences at festivals and planning and coordinating all that goes into running an 80-person camp at Love Burn — a Regional Burning Man event — in Miami.
I play washboard in a saloon band, guitar and sing in a punk-rock cover band, and put a lot of time and intention into several other whacky and silly art installations locally for parties and events in Brooklyn.
